The FOX ESS CQ7-M (w) is the master module for the CQ7 high-voltage residential battery system. As the master, it contains the system controller and BMU plus the first 6.96 kWh LFP battery module, and is required exactly once per stack. The "(w)" winter variant adds an internal heating element that lets the battery charge and discharge from -25 degrees Celsius up to +55 degrees Celsius, keeping the bank online through cold mornings. Warm-up start/stop thresholds and up to three time windows are user-configurable via the FOX ESS app. IP65, 100% depth of discharge, CAN communication, supports stacking with up to 13 CQ7-S (w) slave modules for a maximum 97.44 kWh capacity.
